We will explore in the Frederick City Watershed Cooperative Wildlife Management Area (CWMA) (also known as City of Frederick Municipal Watershed and City of Frederick Municipal Forest). The Frederick City Watershed consists of 7000 acres of protected land, mostly forested, with a few open meadows and numerous ponds, with miles of unmarked trails and rich diversity of species. We hope to see mountain laurel in bloom and other plants of the heath family.
